Lakota HS River Watch kids attended the Fall Kickoff in EGF on 9/24! We got our project assignments for the year and did some brainstorming. We did an activity that involved pouring samples from several sub watersheds (south to north since the Red River flows north) into a large jar that symbolized the Red River Basin. We ate a ton of pizza and then spent the afternoon canoeing on Red Lake River. Smiles all around!
