The LHS River Watch team Group 2 had their sampling trip today 10/24. We gathered data from 3 of our sites on pH, clarity, dissolved oxygen, conductivity, tapedown to surface, and made field observations about appearance, weather conditions, recreation suitability, and flora/fauna of the area, etc. It was a tad chilly with the wind, but it was a great morning of watershed science! We were greeted at one of our sites by an eagle flying overhead!

What's going on in 7th Grade Life Science? We are in a lesson about microorganisms. The students were to draw, color, and label a bacteriophage and a bacterium. Mrs. Ulland is dazzled by their lovely artwork. The last picture is our classroom pet, Rick the Leopard Gecko, carefully monitoring to make sure they do their neatest work!
