🎃✨ This morning, students from Lakota High School and Neil Dardis Elementary teamed up for a festive pumpkin painting project! It was a heartwarming collaboration filled with creativity, laughter, and fall spirit. 📚 A huge THANK YOU to State Bank of Lakota for sponsoring a fall-themed book for each elementary student to read with their high school buddy—and take home to enjoy! 🎨 Another big THANK YOU to the Lakota Education Boosters for generously donating the acrylic markers and pumpkins that made this colorful experience possible. We’re so grateful for the community support that helps bring these special moments to life! 🍂💛

It was an absolutely gorgeous day for LHS River Watch students to take their first sampling trip of the year. We got to 2 of our 4 sites today. Pictured are the students in action, taking data for tapedown, clarity, temperature, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, and pH. We even got to play a little "catch the disc in the secchi tube," a favorite in the field!

We’re so grateful for your time, service, and dedication to keeping our community safe — and for inspiring our young learners with such an exciting, hands-on experience!
