- There is a Christmas door decorating contest. Decorate your Raider Time teacher's door. Have your door decorated by tomorrow morning. There will be prizes for the top three doors!
- The Lakota High School annual derby car race will take place on December 20th in the HS gym. Students in grades 7 through 12 who would like to enter a car, please stop by the main office and pick up a block of wood and registration form. Registration is due by this Friday. Prizes will be awarded for Best of Show and Best Themed Car, along with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the racing.

- Congratulations Dagan Slade for being selected as one of only five tenor saxophone players to perform in the University of North Dakota's 40th Annual Honor Band Festival January 24-26, 2025. The festival provides an opportunity for talented high school musicians to perform in a select ensemble under the leadership of UND faculty on the University of North Dakota Campus. The weekend concludes with a Honor Band, Choir and String Festival Concert at the Chester Fritz Auditorium on Sunday, January 26, 2025, from 1:3-4:00.
