The 10th grade Biology students had a movie matinee day today for winning 1ST PLACE in Mrs. Ulland's classroom March Mammal Madness bracket! They chose Despicable Me 4; lots of popcorn and a movie theater box of candy was given for each. It was a nice little prize for them, since we are also holding state assessment testing this week!
March Mammal Madness is hosted by Arizona State University and was inspired by the NCAA College Basketball tournament. Each year animals are selected, ranked, and added to this year's bracket. Then the animals face off head to head in simulated competitions. Each of Mrs. Ulland's science classes 7-12 filled out a bracket, which involved a little animal research about habitat, diet, adaptations, etc. The 2025 champion was…Polar Bear!
