The 7th graders in Mrs. Haugland's US History class held their mock Constitutional Convention last Friday and did a wonderful job! Each student played the role of a Founding Father and debated plans for representation, the 3/5ths compromise, and whether or not to add a Bill of Rights to the Constitution. Many even dressed up for the occasion!

Our River Watch students will be competing at the annual Forum in Grand Forks on February 26, 2025. Along with a poster and verbal presentation, a big part of their project was to draft a hypothetical plan to improve recreation areas in Nelson County. They had collected survey responses from residents to help formulate the plan, and are very grateful for all of the feedback.
