- Welcome Back to School!
- Lunch today is Pulled Pork Sandwiches and Corn.
- Breakfast tomorrow is Cereal and Toast.
- Today will begin with a review of the student handbook in the High School Gym. Class periods will be shortened.
- Students must sign and return the technology device agreement by this Wednesday, August 20th.
- Add/Drop class forms are available in the main office. The deadline to add/drop a class is 12:00pm Friday, August 22nd.
- All students will meet with their class advisors today during Raider Time to select student council members.
- Volleyball practice for grades 7 through 12 begins today.
- School picture day is next week Thursday, August 28th. Picture packets will be handed out towards the end of this week.
- Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance.

Lakota Elementary invites you to Back to School Night on Thursday, August 14th from 5:00–6:00 pm. Bring your supplies, meet your teacher, and join us for a brief Title I meeting in the gym at 5:00.

2025–2026 School Supply Lists Are Here! We’re getting ready for a fantastic school year, and it’s time to check off those supply lists. Supply lists for all grades, Preschool through 6th grades, are now available. Take a look at the images below to find what your child will need for the upcoming school year. The elementary office will reopen on August 1st if you have any questions or need assistance. Feel free to share this post with other families in the district to help everyone stay informed. Congratulations to Rider Schmidt for taking 1st place in the Boys 16–18 division at the Dakota Junior Golf Association (DJGA) meet in Carrington! Rider shot an impressive 67, topping the leaderboard and showcasing his talent and dedication on the course. Way to go, Rider — we’re proud of you! ⛳️👏
